Here is a great way to add in more of this powerful spice during the cold winter days: a turmeric latte!
Makes 2 Servings
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups milk of your choice
- 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 pinch black pepper (pepper is always a must when using turmeric - it helps activate the spice!)
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 TBS sweetener of your choice (we recommend honey or maple syrup)
- Ground cinnamon for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Heat the milk in a pot on the stove over medium-low heat.
- Add turmeric, pepper, cinnamon, ginger and sweetener. Whisk to combine.
- Continue to heat and whisk just until the milk reaches a boil.
- Pour and top with a pinch of cinnamon.
