Hey! My name is Tara Cumby, I am mom to Jackson, who is four, and wife to Nick. I am born and raised here in Georgia. I enjoy spending time with my little family. We are very close to our extended family as well. I am very grateful that we have my parents and in- laws close.

We enjoy traveling, being on the go, playing, and cooking. I wear many hats, I am a mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend and an owner of my own business.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have my own private practice in Sandy Springs. I am the leader of a group called Mommy Tribe where we support moms and offer monthly class. Each class has a different topic that is relatable to us moms.

I first saw FIT4MOM when I was out shopping at Avalon. I thought that looks interesting. I waited a few weeks and did some research. I was unsure about joining a group where I knew no one. I was feeling lonely and bored at home. I did have a lot of things I was juggling but I needed more adult mom interactions. My friends either lived an hour or more away or were working.

So I signed up for my first class. Maureen was my teacher that day. She was amazing even though it was a cold November day she had me sweating and I was hooked. I met Melinda there the first day and we became instant friends. I am grateful that she was there that day as she has been an amazing support to me.

I joined the Body Back Program this past fall and it is amazing. The workouts are geared toward women and building their strength and endurance for motherhood.

I have been with FIT4MOM three years now. I love it. I enjoy meeting new moms and making new friends. I believe that as moms we have to support each other in this journey of motherhood!
