There are always things to do around Atlanta…check out the Children’s Museum (they’re renovating the front, but the museum IS open) or the Georgia Aquarium (it is so much fun to watch the little ones mesmerized by the fish). Atlanta has parks and greenspace (check out the Beltline), we even have a National Park right through Atlanta suburbia (link here).

Enchanted Woodland Trail: Fairy & Gnome Houses @ Chattahoochee Nature Center – Roswell (all ages) $10/person Saturday & Sunday https://www.chattnaturecenter.org/calendar-events/ Visit the Chattahoochee Nature Center and take the Woodland Trail to view the elaborate fairy houses built from tiny natural objects and planted along the trail. Homes designed by volunteers, donors and local artists presented by Northside Hospital.

Drivers License Program @ Tiny Towene – Norcross (ages 9 -15) See Site for FEE Saturday https://www.tinytowne.com/drive/ A program designed for the older drivers to get their TTDL Permit. There are 12 courses that teach young “drivers” the rules of the road. Once they have their TTDL Permit, they’re able to access the advanced track at Tiny Towne.

2019 Augusta Futurity – Augusta (all ages) See Site for FEE Saturday & Sunday http://augustafuturity.com Horse cutting is a western-style equestrian competition to show off the horse’s athleticism and ability to handle cattle. This is the 39th annual showing in Augusta.
