The Holiday Hustle has began…only a few more weeks till Christmas! But don’t let the craziness keep you from getting out this weekend- there is so many activities going on around Atlanta this weekend.


Storytelling Saturdays @ The Wrens Nest – Atlanta (all ages) Saturday FREE with Admission The Wrens Nest is an historical site dedicated to preserving Joel Chandler Harris’ stories and the heritage of African American folklore. Storytelling begins at 1pm. Stories and storytellers vary.

Freedom Farmers Market @ The Carter Center – Atlanta (all ages) Saturday Open year round and offers a wide range of organic, local products along with live music, a kids tent, and prepared foods.

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights– Atlanta Botanical Gardens (all ages) Prices vary by peak hours and weekends; see website for details the glow of the Garden's annual electrical extravaganza shining nightly Nov. 16 - Jan. 11.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer– Center for Puppetry Arts (all ages) Prices vary by peak hours and weekends; see website for details

Celebrate the holidays when Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer™ returns to the stage for its tenth consecutive year. The beloved tale is a faithful adaptation of the classic 1964 stop-motion animated television special.

Light the Station– Atlantic Station (all ages)

Kick off the holidays in style with ice skating, reindeer, an activities hut, and Santa's arrival by sleigh at Light the Station. Free activities—including arts and crafts, live performances, a holiday light parade, more—culminate with a Santa-lead countdown to the lighting of a dazzling 50-foot tree.

Atlanta Christkindl Market– Centennial Park (all ages)

Children's 2019 Christmas Parade– Peachtree Street (all ages)

Join Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Santa Claus and thousands of spectators along the streets of Midtown Atlanta for the largest Christmas parade in the Southeast. The Children’s Christmas Parade will kick off the holiday season Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Proceeds from the parade will help fund programs and equipment to serve patients and families at Children’s.

Toys "R" Us Adventure Lenox Marketplace ( all ages) Saturday Toys“R”Us and Candytopia are excited to present an all-new, totally immersive, fill-up-your-photo-album super-experience! The Toys“R”Us Adventure is a vast indoor playland that celebrates all the whimsy, silly and FUN of toys. Explore over eight mind-blowing rooms and celebrate play with installations designed around brands you know and love.

Santa's Fantastical– Perimeter Point (( all ages) Times vary by day, Children under 3 are free Saturday Sandy Spring’s favorite indoor wonderland is back for a second year. Santa’s Fantastical is coming to town with festive, exciting new updates, including new installations, live performances by The Fantasticals and more. Some of last year’s favorites will return as well, but in a completely reimagined way. The Unicorn Dreams and Candy Cane Vortex photo spots, as well as Santa’s Meet–and-Greet in his Chateau, will all make reappearances this holiday season.

The Macy’s Pink Pig– Lenox Square ( all ages) $3/ ride and multi-ride tickets have a special discounted price (two rides for $5.50, three rides for $7.50) Saturday and Sunday The Macy’s Pink Pig has been a beloved Atlanta tradition for more than 50 years. From its debut in the ‘50s as a children’s ride at the downtown Rich’s store, to its brief stint at the Egleston Children’s Hospital Festival of Trees, five generations of Atlantans have ridden the Macy’s Pink Pig into the holiday season. You'll get your chance this season, with run dates from November to January.
