Weekends are TONS of fun. What are you doing? There are still Easter Egg Hunts happening around Atlanta. Mixed in among the Egg Hunts are festivals and cultural experiences – in Peachtree City there is a Bulgarian Celebration, Sweetwater 420 Festival is happening in Centennial Olympic Park, Artsapalooza in Sandy Springs along with Farmers Markets all throughout Atlanta.

Easter Egg Hunt and Dog Parade @ Willis Park – Avondale (ages 2 – 10) https://www.avondaleestates.org Saturday Children up to ten years old are welcome to participate in the Easter Egg Hun. Eggs are filled with toys and candy and three eggs in each age category denote "winners" who will receive special prizes. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance. Dog Parade Did you ever think your dog might love a parade? If so, bring your furry canine friend to Lake Avondale for the Annual Dog Parade, happening during the Easter Egg Hunt. This event is free and costumes are not required to participate.

Easter Egg Scramble @ Blackburn Park – Brookhaven (ages 3 - 10) Saturday https://www.brookhavenga.gov/parksrec/page/brookhaven-hosting-free-easter-egg-scramble-saturday-april-20 The event is free to the public, there will be food trucks offering breakfast fare at reasonable prices, and the Easter Bunny will be on hand to pose for photos. Egg hunters will be split into age groups (3 and under; 4-6, and 7+) with separate areas for each. There will be a special musical performance to delight the youngsters at 10 a.m. by the Brookhaven Innovation Academy Chorus and the egg hunt begins at 10:30 a.m. sharp.

The hunt for eggs will be followed by a cookout and then everyone will join in a walk of unity from Etowah River Park to Heritage Park and back to the pavilion.
