What makes Body Back® different from the gym "boot camps"?

Body Back® is so much more than a boot camp workout! It is a community of Moms where you will find support, encouragement, camaraderie and lifelong friendships. Through education and our online support, we help you to create a healthier home and more active lifestyle for your family.

We believe you should be empowered and encouraged to push past your perceived limits and find inner strength while building physical strength. We strive to build you up and put you first to create your BEST YOU.

Being a mom is one of the hardest things you will ever do in your life and you need to recharge yourself to take on that task. Our trained instructors know what it means to be a mom and how to help you get back to yourself mentally and physically.

What is the workout like?

Our goal is be outdoors whenever possible so weather permitting, our classes will be held outside. Body Back® has 3 formats: Rounds, Traveling and Circuit. Each is a High Intensity Interval Training class with a combination of Cardio, Strength and Core. This HIIT method is proven to yield the best results and the highest after-burn of calories. The High Intensity workout lasts for 50 minutes, followed by a meditation & stretch.

Do I have to be in great shape to start?

No! All fitness levels are welcome!

But please understand: Body Back® is hard! Our goal is to deliver a workout that will challenge any fitness level so that you will improve your strength and endurance throughout the session. Body Back® is about your journey of transformation and your instructors are there to help you push just outside your comfort level to make that change.

What is Body Back® Transformation?

Body Back® Transformation is an 8-week, results-based, high-intensity workout and nutrition program designed by and for moms. The workouts offer high-intensity, interval formats that give clients a total-body workout. Most importantly, it will help women unlock their personal possibilities in an inspiring and powerful environment. Body Back® Transformation clients experience targeted high-intensity workouts, inspiration and motivation in every class. The program includes new meal plans, online at-home works and support via our social network.

Eight-Week Body Back® Transformation Program Includes:

Two themed workouts per week in a small group format

Meal plan and virtual food journal accountability

Before and after fitness assessments, measurements and photos

Online coaching and support

A weekly workout to do at home

Weekly challenges

What is Body Back® Summer Saturday?

Body Back® Summer Saturdays in a series of drop-in Body Back® workouts especially designed for a mom's busy summer schedule. We will meet early Saturday morning for a "Moms Only" Body Back® HIIT workout.

The magic of Body Back® is in the community and we don’t want to lose that. With this drop-in session, you will be a member of a private Facebook group where you can share your fitness goals and participate in fun weekly challenges. The list of prizes is coming soon. Who better to hold you accountable to your goals than your friends?

Body Back® Summer Session will not include the meal plan, food journal, before and after assessments or the online at home workouts.

Do I need to Pre-Register or can I just show up?

For Body Back® Summer Session, you need to pre-register so your instructor knows to expect you and can contact you if there are any changes to the class. We require a minimum number of clients to be enrolled in order to offer that class. If you can not make it to class, you need to cancel with at least 24 hours notice, or you will be charged for the class.

Can I bring kids to Body Back®?

No. This class is for women 18 and up without children present.

Can I do Body Back® if I am pregnant?

No. This workout is not intended for pre-natal exercise. If you become pregnant during the course of your Body Back session, please notify your instructor. We offer Stroller Strides as appropriate pre-natal exercise programs.

What if I have diastasi recti?

If you have it, or think you may, it is ok. Our instructors are certified in pre and post natal exercise and can help you a) determine if you have it and b) show you modifications to exercise safely if you do. As always, though, you should get doctor's approval before beginning this or any other exercise program.

Do I have to be a Mom to participate?

No. If you are looking for a supportive and empowering group of women to surround yourself with as you strive to reach your health and fitness goals, Body Back® is for you! While some of our meditations and themes may focus on certain aspects of motherhood, Body Back® will be challenging and yield amazing results for any woman.

What should I bring to a Body Back® class?

· Water

· Sweat towel

· Yoga mat or towel for abdominal work

· Sunblock/gear if we're outside

· Resistance bands (If you are trying a class for the first time, we'll supply them)
