Strides 360 promises a heart-pumping workout designed to increase your endurance and develop your speed, agility and quickness so you can sprint through mom life!
This brand new FIT4MOM program is designed to match the structure of Stroller Strides/Barre, but with a more 'intense' cardio and endurance focused workout. Strides 360 is an outdoor class and stroller/kid friendly, but YOU are the focus, mama! You will have the opportunity to participate WITH or WITHOUT your strollers & kiddos to get an energizing workout with your mom tribe!
This class is focused on cardiovascular conditioning. The goal is to increase endurance, speed, agility and quickness. Cardio conditioning can look like power walking, jogging or running, whatever is appropriate for you at that class. The focus is on controlling your intensity during the workout. Strides 360 is made up of 5 intervals of cardio conditioning, SAQ drills and bodyweight recovery. It is challenging but doable. You should feel in-control, proud, energized and alive at the end of class!
Bring water & yourself
Be on Time - In most cases the class will be moving shortly after meeting at the starting place.All little kids need to be in a stroller. We recommend that you use a jogging stroller. They will be moving for extended periods during class. All strollers needs to be in good repair with working brakes & straps. Good suspension, fixed front wheel capability and adequate recline is recommended for optimal class experience. We recommend that you follow the manufacturer's instructions when it come to running with babies in strollers. Big kids will need to stay calmly playing in one place, not running around and the instructor is not the ‘entertainer.’ Big kids will not participate in exercises including the team relay at the end of class.
Prenatal and Early Postpartum moms are welcome. The instructor will be able to give modifications, which in most cases will mean power walking and a slower pace during drills. Keep in mind that Stroller Strides and Stroller Barre are the ideal classes for prenatal and early postpartum moms when the body is experiencing so much change.
