FIT4MOM became my momma village that I so desperately needed when I found it.
We didn't join until my son was 6 months old when I needed a reason to get out of the house. I love to workout but didn't like the idea of dropping my baby off at a gym nursery. I started googling moms groups & came across FIT4MOM Roswell Alpharetta.
I was so nervous the first time I tried it out, afraid all the moms would be more in shape than me or that my son would scream the entire class. I remember walking away from class having had one hour of me time plus quality conversations with other moms & feeling so encouraged.
It's been over a year since I joined. During this time, I've watched babies grow into toddlers, seen moms reach fitness goals & celebrated moms having more babies. We've been there for each other when a kids puked in their stroller, brought food to a new mom & helped when unexpected things happen like car batteries dying. We've babysat other kids when a mom has had an appointments & given suggestions when a babe stops sleeping through the night.
Motherhood is hard & having other moms in your boat when you feel like you're sinking (let's be honest, we all have those day) is life changing.
